Grateful Dead Returns to Laguna Seca with Special Livery on No. 60 Honda

This weekend at the Java House Grand Prix of Monterey, the No. 60 Honda driven by Felix Rosenqvist will showcase a unique tie-dye design celebrating the legendary Grateful Dead. This partnership between SiriusXM and Meyer Shank Racing marks the band’s return to the famed Laguna Seca racetrack, where they previously performed in 1987 and 1988.

The custom livery is aligned with the band’s upcoming sold-out concerts at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park (August 1–3), commemorating 60 years of Grateful Dead music. The Grateful Dead Channel on SiriusXM, one of the platform’s longest-running artist-branded channels, features a variety of music and exclusive content related to the band.

The No. 60 Honda will also carry this distinctive livery into the subsequent race in Portland. Following its debut at Laguna Seca, the car will be displayed at the Dead & Company merchandise store at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on July 30, from 10 AM to 2 PM, before the concerts.

This collaboration not only highlights the intersection of motorsports and music but also underscores the enduring legacy of the Grateful Dead in popular culture.
