Gatorback Cycle Park Awards Recognize Outstanding Young Talent
Gatorback Cycle Park celebrated young motocross talent with several prestigious awards at this year’s event, honoring riders who have demonstrated excellence across various categories.
The Diamond Award, honoring the legacy of Jantz Grodzicki, was presented to Blake Marra (@blakemarra17). This award highlights a rider’s humility and positive influence within the motocross community, emphasizing their role as a model for others.
Nihilo Prodigy Award went to Boon Lloyd (@boonelloyd12), recognizing the top-scoring 51cc rider across both Supercross and Motocross competitions. Lloyd demonstrated exceptional skill in his age group, reinforcing his status as a rising star.
Tristan Prueitt (@tristanprueitt7) achieved a double victory this year, claiming both the Scott Golden Goggle and Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe awards by accumulating the highest points in the Schoolboy 1, 125 B/C, 250B, and Schoolboy 2 classes across Supercross and Motocross.
In the younger age categories, the Thor Bronze Boot was awarded to Beckham Smith (@beckham_smith3), who topped the points in the 65cc, 85cc, Supermini, and Mini Sr. divisions, reflecting his standout performance this season.
Lastly, the Dunlop Silver Tire award for the Pro and A classes was presented to Kade Johnson (@kadejohnson177), who excelled in point standings across both disciplines, underscoring his competitive dominance in the field.
These awards not only highlight individual achievements but also promote the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship that defines motocross culture.
