Cody Barnes Rejoins Beta Racing for GNCC XC1 Class
Liqui Moly Beta Racing has officially announced the return of Cody Barnes to its factory team, securing a two-year contract that marks his debut in the XC1 Pro class of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series. In addition, Barnes will compete in the Pro1 class of the US Sprint Enduro series, where he finished as runner-up this season.
Previously a Beta member in 2019 and 2020, Barnes comes off a strong 2025 season, where he placed third overall in the GNCC series, achieving eleven podium finishes and two wins in the XC2 Pro class. His performance in XC2 was particularly notable, as he narrowly missed the championship by just a few points.
“I’m super excited to join the Beta family again! I enjoyed working with everyone at Beta during my last stint, so when the opportunity arose, it felt right,” said Barnes. He emphasized his confidence in Beta’s program, stating, “I believe the program and the bike are a lot better than people think. I’m looking forward to proving the bike is capable of the highest level of off-road racing for the next two years.”
With Barnes back in the fold, Beta Racing aims to leverage his experience and recent successes as they prepare for an exciting season ahead.
