Bennick Parts Ways with Yamaha, Set for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna
In a significant shift within the motocross landscape, Daxton Bennick has announced his departure from Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing via social media. The North Carolina native’s stint with the Yamaha team spanned his entire amateur career and the initial three years of his professional journey.
Bennick competed in 37 events across AMA Supercross, Motocross, and the SMX Playoffs, achieving 15 top-ten finishes and securing two podiums in AMA Supercross—finishing third in Detroit (2024) and Tampa (2025). However, injuries marred his 2025 season, as two concussions sidelined him for critical periods.
Reports indicate that Bennick will join Rockstar Energy Husqvarna, which is set to transition back to the Husqvarna FC 250 machines for the 2026 season after a season competing with Rockstar Energy GasGas MC 250F machines. This change marks a pivotal moment in Bennick’s career and signals a fresh chapter for the Husqvarna team as they aim to reclaim competitive standing in the upcoming season.
