Monster Energy Kawasaki Announces SuperMotocross World Championship Lineup
The Monster Energy Kawasaki team has officially unveiled its roster for the upcoming SuperMotocross World Championship, confirming Garrett Marchbanks will join Chase Sexton in the 450 class. This decision marks a significant milestone for Marchbanks, who transitioned to Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki mid-season in 2024 during the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
In the 2025 season, Marchbanks demonstrated consistent performance, securing three podium finishes—two in Supercross and one in Motocross—despite challenges with race starts that often impeded his potential. His impressive ability to navigate through the field frequently went unnoticed, as he accumulated a noteworthy number of passes each moto throughout the summer.
Prior to his current role, Marchbanks piloted the YZ450F for Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha from 2022 to 2024, with 25 starts in the 450 class and a notable 15th place finish in a 450SX debut at the 2022 Daytona Supercross.
Expressing his gratitude on social media, Marchbanks reflected on his journey: “There’s honestly not enough words to describe how grateful I am for this opportunity to race for Factory Kawasaki. This has been my dream ever since I was just 10 years old… Kawasaki has always felt like home.”
As he embarks on this new chapter, Marchbanks is poised to leverage his experience and determination to make a significant impact in the upcoming championship.
