Ducati Expands MXGP Commitment for 2026 Season
Ducati has announced a significant enhancement to its presence in the FIM Motocross World Championship, revealing an official partnership with Louis Vosters’ Dutch team for the 2026 season. The team will field three factory Desmo450 MX bikes, marking Ducati’s second year in the MXGP series.
Louis Vosters, who has substantial experience in the motocross paddock, will manage the squad from his facility in Bergeijk, Netherlands. This location is strategically near Lommel, a central hub for motocross and home to the Grand Prix of Flanders.
The team lineup includes Swiss rider Jeremy Seewer, who secured two podium finishes in the 2025 season. Joining him are promising Italian talents Andrea Bonacorsi and Calvin Vlaanderen. Bonacorsi, European Champion in the EMX125 in 2020 and EMX250 in 2023, wrapped up his first full MXGP season in eighth place and gained momentum with a podium during the 2023 Motocross of Nations. Vlaanderen, a seasoned racer with one GP victory in MX2 (2018) and another in MXGP (2022), brings a wealth of competitive experience, including a Dutch championship title and a Motocross of Nations win in 2019.
