Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha Unveils Youth-Focused Lineup for 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship
MURRIETA, Calif. – Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha has announced its rider lineup for the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship, aiming to build on the success of the previous season, which featured three postseason participants. The team, supported by Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., retains key riders while introducing new talent to enhance their competitive edge in the 250cc division.
Returning for the upcoming season are Parker Ross and Dilan Schwartz, both from California, who rely on the performance of the Yamaha YZ250F. They will be joined by newcomer Lux Turner from Nevada, while Iowa’s Leo Tucker re-enters the lineup. Nathan Abbott and Cole Timboe will compete in the SMX Next series. The management team welcomes back former racer Bradley Taft as Team Manager, who played a pivotal role in guiding Ross and Schwartz to the SMX Playoffs last season.
Parker Ross, 20, had a promising rookie year, regularly finishing within the top ten of a competitive field and concluding the season ranked in the top 20 of the SMX standings. Ross expressed confidence in his development, stating, “I’m really satisfied with how my rookie year went but I also know I’m capable of more…” He is eager to capitalize on his experience as he prepares for his sophomore campaign.
The team’s strategic approach and focus on nurturing young talent underscore its ambitions for the 2026 season, as it seeks to cement its status as a leading competitor in the expanding SuperMotocross landscape.
