MXGP 26: Official Game Launches at FIM MXoN
MONACO – The highly anticipated MXGP 26, the official video game of the FIM Motocross World Championship, is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Developed by Artefacts Studio and published by Nacon, this iteration represents a significant overhaul, leveraging Unreal Engine 5 to deliver enhanced graphics and gameplay.
Key features of MXGP 26 include:
- Realistic Riding Physics: Rebuilt from the ground up to better simulate weight and traction.
- Real-Time Track Deformation: Persistent ruts alter the racing line dynamically throughout each session.
- New Free-Roam Area: Dubbed The Compound, this location complements traditional game modes such as Grand Prix, Championship, Time Attack, and Online Multiplayer.
The game boasts 19 official tracks from the 2026 MXGP and MX2 calendar and includes 16 officially licensed bikes. Responding to player feedback, several enhancements have been integrated, including:
- Improved bike handling in ruts.
- Unique sand surface dynamics.
- Adjustable field of view in camera settings.
- A vibrant paddock featuring authentic team liveries.
- Custom champion liveries and unlockable design kits.
The launch coincided with its live debut at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, highlighting the game’s commitment to authenticity and engagement within the motocross community.
