Provisional 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship Calendar Released
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana, USA — Infront Moto Racing has unveiled the provisional calendar for the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship, featuring 20 rounds set across prestigious venues worldwide. The season will kick off on February 22, 2026, at a location yet to be announced, and culminate with the highly anticipated Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France, on October 4, 2026.
The championship’s South American leg will commence in Argentina on March 8. Notably, the MXGP will debut in Almonte, Spain, on March 22, 2026, followed by a return to Frauenfeld, Switzerland, on March 29.
April will showcase an Italian double-header with events in Riola Sardo on April 12 and Pietramurata on April 19. The championship will resume on May 10 in Great Britain with an undisclosed venue, leading into a demanding three-week stretch featuring races in France (Lacapelle Marival), Germany (Teutschenthal), and Latvia (Kegums) from May 24 to June 7.
As summer approaches, the series will visit Italy (Montevarchi) on June 21 and Portugal (Águeda) on June 28. Following a brief hiatus, the championship will re-engage on July 19 with another TBA event, continuing with back-to-back races in the Czech Republic (Loket) and Flanders (Lommel) on July 26 and August 2, respectively.
August will see races in Sweden (Uddevalla) and the Netherlands (Arnhem) before the championship transitions overseas. September will feature consecutive events in Turkiye (Afyonkarahisar), China (Shanghai), and Australia (Darwin), delivering an intense conclusion to the season.
The 2026 FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship (WMX) will consist of six rounds across Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and ending in Australia. Additionally, the FIM Europe European Motocross Championships (EMX) will host 12 rounds including EMX250 and EMX125 classes, with finals scheduled in Loket and Lommel.
The FIM Junior Motocross World Championship is set for July 5 in Jinin, Czech Republic, emphasizing the sport’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent.
