Motorsports Report: Team Quad Lock Honda Looks to Future Amid Supercross Changes
Team founder Yarrive Konsky has expressed optimism about the future of Quad Lock Honda, even as the World Supercross Championship faces dissolution. In a statement, Konsky highlighted the team’s resilience and commitment to evolving in light of the changing landscape.
Reflecting on teammate Joey Savatgy, Konsky remarked, “I’ve admired Joey’s career for a long time… He races with tremendous heart and grit.” His departure marks a significant moment for the team, as Konsky acknowledged Savatgy’s contributions, stating, “His determination and hard-charging approach have made him a valued member of the program.”
The cancellation of the World Supercross has prompted a strategic reassessment. Konsky noted, “The reality is that World Supercross was an important part of our international ecosystem… it means we have to make responsible decisions about our commitments and the future of the business.”
Looking ahead, the team plans to intensify its focus on the U.S. market, aiming to evaluate and strengthen its operational structure. “We have proven that we can build competitive motorcycles, attract quality riders and perform at the highest level. Our attention is firmly on the United States for the next phase of our journey,” Konsky concluded.
As Quad Lock Honda navigates this transition, the team’s commitment to remaining competitive and sustainable underscores its aspirations in the evolving motorsports landscape.
