GNCC Series Finale: Steede Triumphs at Ironman 2025
Ironman, IN – The 2025 GNCC season concluded with an exhilarating race at Ironman, where Brooke Steede secured a decisive victory in the Women’s XC class. Steede crossed the line first, finishing 1.7 seconds ahead of Brandy Richards of FMF KTM Factory Racing, who made a thrilling pass moments before the final lap but ultimately could not fend off Steede’s late surge. Rachael Archer of Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green held third but fell short of retaining her championship title, concluding the season second in WXC standings.
The Amateur race segment showcased intense competition, particularly in the Ironman Industry class, dominated by Cole Martinez, who claimed the overall win, followed closely by Zach Osborne in second. Brayden Nolette rounded out the top three.
In the early Amateur Race #1, Gavin Harwell excelled, taking the overall and 4-Stroke C Lites class victories. Sam Cline and Clayton Gantt completed the top three positions.
On Saturday afternoon, the Youth Bike race saw Cooper Duff emerge as the overall and YXC1 Super Mini Sr. class winner. Phillip Arnold finished second overall while also winning the YXC2 Super Mini Jr. class, with Seth Miller taking third overall.
The Micro Bike category concluded with Kane Morrison claiming the overall and MXC1 class win. Notably, Kash Brummage dominated the MXC2 class, while several young racers triumphed in various categories, showcasing significant talent and promise within the sport.
As the GNCC series celebrates its 50th Anniversary, fans and participants are reminded of a special cruise event scheduled for December 5-8, 2025. This three-night gathering at sea aims to honor the series’s rich heritage and community.
