MXGP Report: Official Launch of Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations
Crawfordsville, Indiana – The prestigious Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) kicked off today at Ironman Raceway, featuring an Opening Press Conference and the crucial ballot draw to determine the starting grid for Saturday’s qualifying heats.
Infront Moto Racing’s CEO, David Luongo, expressed excitement over the event’s return to the United States. “This is a special weekend where the best riders from around the world compete for their nations. The unpredictability of the Motocross of Nations adds to its unique appeal,” Luongo noted, emphasizing the collaborative effort with local organizers and the city of Crawfordsville.
FIM/CMS Director Antonio Alia Portela highlighted the scale of the event, commending the local community and all federations for their support. “World-class facilities demonstrate the sport’s strength and commitment,” he stated, wishing all teams success in the competition for the prestigious trophy.
Tim Cotter, MX Sports Director, welcomed attendees to “Motoville, Indiana,” acknowledging the 14-month planning process and the dedication of over 350 individuals involved in the event preparation. “This celebration of motocross showcases the sport’s vitality and the community’s embrace of the MXoN,” Cotter remarked.
