Kaulig Racing Named Anchor Team for Ram’s NASCAR Return

DAYTONA BEACH, FL — In a significant development for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Kaulig Racing will serve as the anchor factory team for Ram’s anticipated return in 2026. This partnership was unveiled on Saturday at a Ram dealership, marking a strategic move for both entities.

Kaulig Racing plans to field five trucks when the season commences at Daytona International Speedway. However, the driver lineup has yet to be disclosed.

“This partnership represents far more than a new chapter in Kaulig Racing’s history, it’s a union of shared values,” said Matt Kaulig, the team’s owner. He highlighted the organization’s legacy built on performance and community impact, expressing the responsibility and honor of leading Ram back into NASCAR.

Ram’s last appearance in the series was in 2012, with this return announced earlier in June. This partnership also marks Kaulig Racing’s inaugural entry into the Truck Series, adding to their existing operations which began with the Xfinity Series in 2016 and expanded to the Cup Series in 2021.

Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Ram, emphasized the alignment between the brands, stating, “We needed a partner that truly aligns with the Ram brand and embraces our unconventional approach to NASCAR. With Kaulig Racing, we found the perfect synergy to drive our ‘Last Tenth’ culture forward.”

The combination of Kaulig Racing’s competitive spirit and Ram’s storied heritage sets the stage for an exciting new chapter in NASCAR racing.
