Keselowski’s Misfortunes Continue at Kansas: A DNF After Strong Performance

In a troubling start to the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series, Brad Keselowski’s challenging season took another hit at Kansas Speedway. The RFK Racing driver, still seeking his first top-ten finish, faced his third consecutive DNF, finishing 37th after a late-race tire failure.

Keselowski, who started from the rear of the field, showcased competitive pace by moving into contention early in the race. By Stage 3, he was battling with Kyle Larson for the lead. However, disaster struck on Lap 194, when a blown right-rear tire sent his No. 6 Ford Mustang crashing into the wall. This misfortune not only ended his race but further solidified his position at the bottom of the championship standings, currently sitting 32nd with only an 11th-place finish at Las Vegas to his credit this season.

"It was a good day," Keselowski expressed post-incident. “I felt we had a shot to win, but just went into Turn 1 and heard a big ‘boom.’ Unfortunately, it didn’t come together."

RFK Racing, collectively winless this year, has seen teammates Chris Buescher and Ryan Preece achieve stronger results, currently placed 12th and 16th in the standings, respectively. In contrast, Keselowski’s series of crashes highlight the ongoing struggles faced by the once-competitive driver, who has yet to secure a top-ten finish through the first twelve races of the season.

The Kansas event served as a stark reminder of the harsh realities of motorsport, where technical challenges and misfortune can swiftly alter the trajectory of even the most promising performances.
