Kaulig Racing Appoints Brenden Queen as First Ram Driver in Craftsman Truck Series
Kaulig Racing has officially named Brenden Queen as its inaugural driver for Ram in the upcoming Craftsman Truck Series season. Queen, who recently clinched the ARCA Menards Series championship, is the first of five drivers to be unveiled by the team as it prepares for Ram’s return to NASCAR.
In a statement expressing gratitude, Queen said, “A big thanks to Matt Kaulig, Chris Rice, Ram, and everyone at Kaulig Racing for this opportunity. I’m just a short-track kid who’s worked hard every day… I can’t wait to get rolling with Ram and Kaulig Racing. The goals are simple: build a winning team and chase championships.”
Queen made his NASCAR national series debut last season with Tricon Garage, achieving a notable fourth-place finish at North Wilkesboro Speedway. He also competed in races at Nashville Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway and had another appearance this year with Spire Motorsports at Indianapolis.
Additionally, Kaulig Racing fielded Queen in his Xfinity Series debut during the recent Bristol Motor Speedway race. Following a ninth-place finish at Kansas Speedway, the team has confirmed that he will compete in the remaining three Xfinity Series events at Talladega Superspeedway, Martinsville Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway.
Kaulig Racing CEO Chris Rice noted, “It’s been amazing to see what Brenden is capable of… He’s proven he deserves this opportunity, and we can’t wait to see what he does in the Truck Series next year.”
Further details regarding Queen’s 2024 program will be announced in the coming weeks.
