Daniel Suarez to Depart Trackhouse Racing Post-2025 Season
Daniel Suarez and Trackhouse Racing have announced a mutual separation effective following the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. The news was confirmed by Suarez via social media on Tuesday.
Suarez reflected on his time with Trackhouse, stating, “I’ve had some of the best years of my Cup Series career at Trackhouse… Just like the seasons in a year, sometimes things change and we have agreed to each go in our own direction.”
Suarez joined Trackhouse as their inaugural driver in 2021 under team owner Justin Marks. During his tenure, he secured two Cup Series victories and made the postseason in both 2022 and 2024, achieving a career-best 10th place overall in 2022.
Justin Marks praised Suarez’s influence, stating, “The role Daniel has played in the Trackhouse origin story… will remain a valued part of the company’s history forever.” Marks highlighted Suarez’s work ethic and added, “We will forever be thankful and honored that Daniel chose to spend many incredible years with us.”
Currently, Trackhouse Racing operates three full-time teams: Suarez’s No. 99 Chevrolet, Ross Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet, and Shane van Gisbergen’s No. 88 Chevrolet. Development driver Connor Zilisch is expected to transition to the Cup Series soon, signaling potential changes ahead for the organization.
