TNT Rejoins NASCAR Broadcast Team

TNT will return as an official NASCAR broadcaster for the first time in a decade, covering select races in the summer. The network will kick off its coverage on June 28 from Atlanta Motor Speedway, followed by broadcasts at the Chicago Street Course on July 6, Sonoma on July 13, Dover Motor Speedway on July 20, and concluding with the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 27.

Broadcast Team and Coverage Details

Dale Earnhardt Jr., a staple in NASCAR broadcasting, will lead the commentary alongside his former Daytona 500-winning crew chief, Steve Letarte, and veteran commentator Adam Alexander. Supporting them in the pits will be seasoned reporters Marty Snider, Danielle Trotta, and Alan Cavanna.

The studio team will enhance pre- and post-race analysis on-site at each event, featuring host Shannon Spake with analysts Jamie McMurray, the 2010 Daytona 500 champion, and veteran driver Parker Kligerman. Additionally, Mamba Smith will contribute as a correspondent for B/R Racing.

In a strategic move, TNT will implement NASCAR’s new in-season challenge, utilizing a bracket format with a $1 million prize for the winner. Alongside its standard coverage, TNT will offer a unique "In-Season Challenge Altcast" on truTV, providing in-depth storytelling for individual driver brackets. This will include insights from veteran crew chief Larry McReynolds and 21-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Jeff Burton.

As TNT reenters the NASCAR fold, the changes reflect an ongoing evolution in broadcasting, aimed at enhancing viewer engagement and delivering comprehensive race coverage.
