Michelin Le Mans Cup Update: Key Developments Ahead of Final Round

The final round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup season is set to feature an updated entry list, highlighted by the addition of a third Ligier JS P325 – Toyota from High Class Racing. The #94 entry will be driven by Stylianos Kolovos and Gaël Julien.

The LMP3 grid remains at 23 cars following the withdrawal of the #43 Inter Europol Competition Ligier. The Polish team will now concentrate on its LMP3 Pro/Am entry, #34, which sees Alexander Bukhantsov and Christian Dannemand Jörgensen at the wheel.

Additionally, More Motorsport has confirmed Pearce Wade as the second driver for the #99 Ligier, joining Max van der Snel in this weekend’s race.

Future Races

Looking ahead, Eurocup-3 will join the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) support package in 2027, with confirmed appearances at Paul Ricard, Imola, and Silverstone. Also, the Porsche Carrera Cup France is set to feature at Imola.

Vector Sport’s #10 ORECA 07 – Gibson will continue its partnership with Goodyear, showcasing its distinctive blue and yellow livery for this weekend’s events.

Algarve Pro Racing has brought its 2026 championship trophies, including accolades from prestigious events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Daytona, to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. The team’s #20 ORECA 07 is only six points behind in the LMP2 Pro/Am standings.

Rookie Test and Oversubscription

The Rookie Test scheduled for Sunday has exceeded capacity, with teams from both the European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup expected to engage in five hours of track time. Following the test, additional sessions are planned for Monday and Tuesday.
