59 Cars Set for 6H Abu Dhabi, Highlighting Competitive GT3 Field
As the 6H Abu Dhabi approaches on January 10, 2026, the entry list has swelled to 59 cars, with 30 of these competing in the premier GT3 category.
Defending champions Team WRT will field a lone BMW M4 GT3 Evo, the only representative from the German manufacturer in the GT3 class. Competing against WRT are 10 Porsche 911 GT3 Rs, including a formidable three-car effort from Herberth Motorsport and a duo from Car Collection Motorsport, which celebrates recent success with a collaboration featuring reigning GT World Challenge Asia champion Origine.
Additional entries feature single Porsche 911 GT3 Rs from Dinamic GT, Fulgenzi Racing, Huber Motorsport, Razoon-More Than Racing, and EBM. EBM also returns with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, part of a total of seven Mercedes entries, which includes two from defending Middle East Trophy Teams’ champions Winward Racing.
Noteworthy entries include two Ferrari 296 GT3s from Dragon Racing and Audi’s four R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs, with two from HAAS RT. Meanwhile, Optimum Motorsport will represent McLaren with the sole GT3 Evo in the lineup, while Lamborghini boast three Huracán GT3 Evo2s divided among ARC Bratislava and Spora GT.
In the 992 category, 17 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars have been confirmed. HRT Performance leads this class with six entries, while defending race winners Mühlner Motorsport and several others complete the lineup.
For GTX, Team CMR will debut the Ginetta G56 GT2, challenged by Vortex V8 and GT 3 Poland entries. The GT4 class features five diverse teams, including remnants from last season and notable models like the Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo2 and BMW M4 GT4.
Completing the grid is the TCE-TCX category, where defending champions Chazel Technologie Course’s Alpine A110 Cup faces three cars from asBest Racing.
This event marks the second round of the 2025/26 24H Series Middle East Trophy after the upcoming 12H Malaysia on December 5-6, 2025.
