Free Practice 2 Results: Imola
In a pivotal Free Practice 2 session at Imola, Charles Milesi of the Alpine Endurance Team set a new benchmark with a lap time of 1:30.898, marking the first sub-1:31 lap of the week. This performance not only secured top honors but also marked the A424’s first leadership in a practice session since its debut in 2024.
Nyck De Vries secured second place in the #7 Toyota Racing TR010 Hybrid, clocking in just 0.114 seconds behind Milesi after a dynamic exchange for the top position early in the session. Antonio Fuoco’s effort in the best-performing Ferrari 499P placed him third with a time of 1:31.036.

- The Ferrari entries continued to showcase competitive pace, with the #51 and #83 finishing fourth and seventh, respectively. Notably, Ferrari employed a mix of soft and medium tires in preparation for the upcoming qualifying session.

LMGT3 Highlights
In the LMGT3 category, Kobe Pauwels led the #23 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage with a time of 1:42.081, narrowly outpacing fellow rookie Hadrien David in the #78 Akkodis ASP Team Lexus RC F LMGT3 by 0.070 seconds. Zacharie Robichon of Heart of Racing Team and the two Corvette Z06 LMGT3.Rs from TF Sport solidified the top six positions.
The session ran smoothly under hot, sunny conditions, allowing most teams to optimize their qualifying simulations before shifting focus toward race strategies.
