Algarve Pro Racing Announces LMP2 Lineup for Asian Le Mans Series
Five-time Asian Le Mans Series champions Algarve Pro Racing have finalized their driver lineup for the upcoming season, securing the services of 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans LMP2 winner Tom Dillmann. The French driver will pilot the #25 ORECA 07 – Gibson alongside reigning drivers’ champion Michael Jensen and LMP2 newcomer Enzo Trulli.
Dillmann, 36, who debuted in the Asian Le Mans Series during the 2023/24 season with DKR Engineering before moving to Proton Competition, expressed enthusiasm about joining Algarve Pro. “The team has been super successful, so there’s every reason to expect us to be competitive,” Dillmann stated. “I will give my best as always, and we’ll see what we can achieve together.”
Trulli, 20, was confirmed as part of the Algarve Pro lineup last month following an extensive testing program. He emphasized the rigorous preparation he undertook, stating, “I have been working with Algarve Pro for a year now… The aim is definitely to fight for the Asian Le Mans Series title.”
Jensen, entering his second full season in LMP2 after winning the championship last year, underscored the strength of the team, remarking on the challenges posed by 16 LMP2 entries: “We will give it our best.”
Algarve Pro Racing will also field a second entry, the #4 ORECA, with drivers Malthe Jakobsen, George Kurtz, and Louis Delétraz, along with a third car, the #20 ORECA, which currently has Kriton Lentoudis named as one of its drivers.
The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series kicks off at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from December 12-14, 2025, featuring a pair of four-hour races.
