Laurin Heinrich Set for Le Mans Debut with CrowdStrike Racing
Porsche factory driver Laurin Heinrich will make his debut at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2026, piloting the #4 ORECA 07 – Gibson for CrowdStrike Racing by APR. The 24-year-old will team with 2023 class winner George Kurtz and Peugeot development driver Alex Quinn, aiming to capitalize on the team’s previous success at the Daytona 24 Hours.
Heinrich, who has already secured victories at both Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring this year, will be entering his first race in the LMP2 category. He previously debuted in prototypes at the Bahrain race last year, competing with Porsche Penske Motorsport, before shifting focus to IMSA’s GTP class.
“This is a great opportunity to join a team that has already won at Le Mans,” Heinrich stated. “We’ve got a strong line-up and everything we need to be competitive, so the focus is on executing well and putting ourselves in the fight at the front.”
Heinrich will join fellow Porsche drivers Kevin Estre (TDS Racing) and Julien Andlauer (Duqueine Team), as they secure LMP2 drives following Porsche’s withdrawal from the Hypercar class at the end of 2025. The #4 entry will be part of Algarve Pro Racing’s two-car LMP2 Pro/Am effort alongside the sister #25 entry, driven by Michael Jensen and Enzo Trulli, with a third driver still to be announced.
The 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans is scheduled for June 10-14, 2026.
