High Class Racing Finalizes Driver Line-Up for 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series
Copenhagen, Denmark — High Class Racing has officially announced its driver roster for the upcoming 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series, marking a significant return to LMP2 competition. The lineup for the #49 ORECA 07 – Gibson includes LMP3 star Theodor Jensen, along with previously confirmed drivers Gustavo Menezes and Jens Reno Møller.
Jensen, coming off victories in both the Asian and European Le Mans Series LMP3 championships, will make his LMP2 debut. At just 19, he is also set to compete in LMP2 for CLX Motorsport in the European series next year, pending entry confirmation. “This is a huge opportunity for me to return to the series after last year’s success,” said Jensen. “Racing in LMP2 alongside drivers like Gustavo and Jens is a dream come true.”
Menezes, a former Peugeot factory driver, returns to the Asian Le Mans Series for the first time since the 2016/17 season. This marks his comeback to racing after a hiatus following his exit from the French manufacturer at the end of 2023. He expressed enthusiasm for joining High Class Racing, emphasizing the championship’s growing stature: “I believe we have the right package to fight at the front.”
Møller, another LMP2 debutant, praised his successful LMP3 season alongside Jensen and expressed pride in representing Danish motorsport: “Moving into LMP2 with High Class Racing feels like the natural next step.”
High Class Racing last competed in LMP2 within the Asian Le Mans Series in 2022, where they finished as runner-up in the LMP2 Am class. After a year away, the team shifted focus to LMP3, clinching victory in last season’s finale.
Team owner Anders Fjordbach commented on the diverse and experienced lineup: “We’re thrilled to be back in the Asian Le Mans Series. Gustavo’s experience, Jens’ consistency, and Theodor’s potential create a dynamic team that we believe can challenge for podiums.”
The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series will commence with a pair of four-hour races at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, from December 12 to 14, 2025.
