Lionspeed GP Expands Entry for Nürburgring 24 Hours with Added Porsche 911 GT3 R
Lionspeed GP has confirmed the addition of a second Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) to its lineup for the upcoming 2026 ADAC 24H Nürburgring, scheduled for May 14-17, 2026. This marks the team’s debut in the SP9 Pro category, along with a separate entry in SP9 Pro/Am, a class in which they secured victory during their last participation in 2024.
The #18 Porsche will feature a driver lineup comprising team principal Patrick Kolb, 2021 Daytona 24 LMP2 winner Kyle Tilley, and 2024 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) drivers’ champion Jake Hill. Both Tilley and Hill will make their SP9 debuts at the iconic Nürburgring Nordschleife, having attained their Permit As earlier this year through Lionspeed GP.
Kolb leads the team in experience, having competed extensively at the Nordschleife for the past decade, including two class wins in the N24—both in SP9 Pro/Am, highlighting Lionspeed’s capabilities at this demanding circuit.
This expanded entry represents Lionspeed GP’s commitment to both competitive performance and developing new talent within the motorsports landscape.
