Genesis Unveils Magma GT Concept: A New Era in Performance Racing
Genesis Motorsport has officially unveiled the Magma GT Concept, a mid/rear-engine vehicle that signals the brand’s aspirations to enter the GT racing class. This announcement aligns with Genesis’s recent introduction of the GMR-001 Hypercar, further solidifying its commitment to high-performance vehicles.
Luc Donckerwolke, President and Chief Creative Officer of Genesis, highlighted the Magma GT as the pinnacle of the brand’s performance vision. “It isn’t defined by raw aggression or uncompromising speed — it is defined by balance,” he stated. Donckerwolke emphasized that the vehicle is designed to connect instinctively with its driver, offering composed performance under pressure.
The Magma GT Concept aims to enhance driver skill rather than challenge it, with Donckerwolke asserting, “This is not simply a faster Genesis; it is the most complete expression of Genesis performance to date.” The vehicle promises meticulously tuned components that serve a singular purpose: to facilitate effortless high-performance driving.
As Genesis continues to shift its focus toward motorsport, the Magma GT represents a significant advancement in the brand’s high-performance capabilities and ambitions.
