Nielsen Racing Secures Roy Nissany for 2026 ELMS Season
Nielsen Racing has announced the signing of 31-year-old Roy Nissany for the 2026 European Le Mans Series (ELMS). Nissany will co-drive the #24 ORECA 07 – Gibson LMP2 with newcomer Ed Pearson. This marks Nissany’s transition from single-seaters, having debuted in sportscar racing with the Duqueine Team last season, where he achieved a best finish of seventh in LMP2 at Circuit Paul Ricard.
The British team enters the 2026 season following its most successful ELMS campaign to date, finishing fifth in the LMP2 teams’ championship and securing two podiums alongside its first overall pole position.
Nielsen’s second entry, the #27 car, will feature a Pro/Am lineup of James Allen, Kriton Lentoudis, and Alex Quinn.
The opening race of the season is scheduled for April 10-12, 2026, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
