Team Peugeot TotalEnergies has officially announced its driver line-up for the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), confirming Australian Alex Quinn as a development driver following his impressive performance at the FIA WEC Rookie Test in Bahrain.
Quinn, set to turn 25 next month, expressed his enthusiasm: “I’m very happy to be joining the Peugeot family as a test and development driver. I hope this marks the start of a long relationship. My goal is to help the team as much as possible while learning and growing. I couldn’t be in a better place than with Team Peugeot TotalEnergies. 2026 is going to be an exciting year.”
In addition to Quinn, Jean-Eric Vergne will share development duties after stepping back from full-time WEC competition. Peugeot’s confirmed full-time drivers for 2026 include:
- Theo Pourchaire: Making his full-time debut after a successful race in Bahrain.
- Nick Cassidy: Set for his WEC Hypercar debut after impressive test results, where he recorded the second-fastest time during the Rookie Test.
- Stoffel Vandoorne: Returning for another season.
- Loïc Duval and Paul di Resta: Veteran drivers, integral to Peugeot’s success from the program’s onset.
- Malthe Jakobsen: Continuing into his second year after a strong debut season.
Technical Director Olivier Jansonnie commented on the line-up, stating, “For 2026, we are confirming a solid and well-balanced line-up of six full-season drivers, combining youth and experience. Loïc and Paul remain our pillars, while Nick and Stoffel add significant talent. Malthe and Théo represent the promising young talent in our program, and we are excited about Alex’s potential.”
Peugeot is set to announce the driver line-ups for the #93 and #94 cars early in 2026.
