Porsche Penske Motorsport Unveils Special Livery for Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach
Porsche Penske Motorsport has unveiled a striking Apple Music livery for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, set to take place on April 17-18, 2026. This limited-edition design follows their recent appearance at the 12 Hours of Sebring featuring a Mobil 1 scheme.
The new livery showcases a white base with red and black accents, symbolizing the enduring partnership between Porsche and Apple Music, now in its eighth year. Both factory Porsche 963s will don this design as they aim to defend their victory from the previous year’s event.
“We are extremely proud of our collaboration with Apple Music,” said Thomas Laudenbach, Vice-President of Porsche Motorsport. “The livery on our two Porsche 963 cars looks fantastic. This is another highlight as we celebrate 75 years of Porsche Motorsport.”
With victories at both the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, Porsche Penske currently leads IMSA’s GTP championships. This weekend’s race presents an opportunity for the team to reinforce its dominance early in the season.
Importantly, this livery does not pay homage to the iconic Apple-branded Porsche 935 from the 1980 24 Hours of Le Mans, but rather signifies a special collaboration with their current partner. Additionally, this marks the potential beginning of a series of unique liveries, as Porsche prepares for IMSA’s inaugural throwback weekend at Laguna Seca, the subsequent stop on the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship calendar.
As the Acura Grand Prix approaches, all eyes will be on Porsche Penske Motorsport’s performance and fan reception to their fresh design.
