IMSA WeatherTech Championship: Qualifying Summary from Indianapolis
Indianapolis, IN – The pole position for the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks has been claimed by Cadillac following a post-qualifying disqualification of Tom Blomqvist’s #60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-06 due to non-compliance with bodywork regulations. As a result, Cadillac occupies the front row for the six-hour endurance race, the penultimate round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Blomqvist’s disqualification resulted from exceeding the three-millimeter tolerance outlined in Article 3.11.2 of the LMDh regulations, relegating him to 12th on the GTP grid alongside teammate Colin Braun.

LMP2 Results
In LMP2, 2024 champion Nick Boulle captured the class pole in the #2 United Autosports USA ORECA 07-Gibson, breaking the three-race pole streak of PJ Hyett from AO Racing. Boulle set a time of 1:17.846, with Daniel Goldburg in the #22 United ORECA qualifying second at 1:18.222.
