Team WRT Unveils Retro Livery for 6 Hours of Barcelona
Team WRT has announced the latest in its series of striking liveries, featuring the #69 BMW M4 LMGT3 Evo emblazoned in a retro red and white BASF design for the upcoming FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) event at the 6 Hours of Barcelona, scheduled for October 16-18, 2026.
This livery pays homage to the classic BMW M1 Procar design from the 1980s, incorporating distinctive circular motifs reminiscent of cassette tape mechanics. Despite its long absence from the motorsport scene, the collaboration between BMW and BASF remains active.
The driver lineup for the #69 BMW includes Anthony McIntosh, Parker Thompson, and Dan Harper, who will be competing in this inaugural WEC event in Spain.
As the anticipation builds for the race, the historical significance of the livery adds an intriguing layer to this year’s competition, combining nostalgia with cutting-edge racing technology.
This event marks an important milestone for Team WRT, showcasing both heritage and innovation on the world stage.
