Haas F1 Team: Celebrating 200 Races with Throwback Livery at Canadian Grand Prix
Montreal, Canada – The Haas Formula 1 Team will commemorate a historic milestone at the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix, marking their 200th race in the championship. To celebrate this occasion, team principal Ayao Komatsu has unveiled a retro livery inspired by their original design from 2016, featuring a striking combination of silver, red, and black.
After nine races in the 2025 season, Haas currently sits seventh in the Constructors’ Championship, tallying 26 points with drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman. The team faced challenges in the previous race in Barcelona, where Ocon and Bearman finished 16th and 17th, respectively.
In a post-race evaluation, Komatsu stated, "The car didn’t quite have the pace, but I also don’t think we put it together very well operationally. We need to investigate how we can refine our operations, get more out of the car, and work better together.” His comments underscore the pressing need for improvement ahead of the Canadian event, where street circuit experience could benefit the team.
Ocon, reflecting on their performance, noted the potential for a stronger showing in Canada, drawing optimism from the team’s results in Monaco, where he finished seventh. "We had some positives and some difficulties, but I think it’s good that we’re now going into a week where we can analyze things and hopefully come back stronger,” he emphasized.
As Haas gears up for their landmark race, the focus will be on leveraging their experience and the nostalgic livery to inspire a more competitive performance on the streets of Montreal.
