Hill’s Continued Charge in 450SX Championship
Indianapolis, IN — Justin Hill, competing in his fourth consecutive season with Team Tedder Racing, is firmly entrenched in the battle for the 450SX championship. Currently sitting just behind frontrunners Jorge Prado, Dylan Ferrandis, and Jason Anderson in the 2026 points standings, Hill has consistently challenged the elite riders in the field.
“This is a field of killers,” Hill stated, highlighting the fierce competition he faces. “There are no slouches out there… Joey Savatgy is riding incredibly well, and that elevates the overall competition. If you’re like us, you’ve got to be firing on all cylinders and on the cutting edge to beat these guys.”
Prado’s pedigree is noteworthy; as a four-time world champion, his entry into the 450SX series raises the level of competition. “That’s a guy with a straight-up GOAT resume. If you’re anywhere near him, you’re somebody too,” Hill remarked.
As Hill continues to perform at a high level, he aims for top-five finishes and the associated financial rewards. “I know I can do it; it’s all right there,” he said, emphasizing the complexities of the sport. “There are so many pieces to the puzzle… It’s a high-level thing we’re doing, and I’m blessed to be a part of it.”
His commitment to Team Tedder Racing reflects strong camaraderie and respect, particularly for team principal Dakota Tedder. “These guys are more than a team to me. They’re great,” Hill expressed. “At this point, it’s about how much longer I want to be out there. When I’m too tired to press the button, that’s when the ride is over.”
As the season progresses, Hill’s performance will be pivotal not only in his championship aspirations but also in shaping the dynamics of a highly competitive field in the 450SX series.
