Abt Motorsport Extends Partnership with Lamborghini for Enhanced Race Program
Hockenheim, Germany – Abt Motorsport has announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with Lamborghini, reinforcing its commitment to the Italian manufacturer in the motorsports arena. This collaboration will see the debut of the new Temerario GT3 at the prestigious 24 Hours of Nürburgring in 2027.
The team, well-acquainted with the Lamborghini brand through its performance in the DTM series, has also utilized the previous-generation Huracán GT3 Evo2 in endurance racing. As they approach the DTM season finale this weekend, Abt is poised to expand its competitive strategy for the upcoming races.
For the 2027 season, Abt Motorsport plans to field two Temerario GT3 entries in the DTM series, alongside participation in the grueling Nordschleife event. Furthermore, the team will debut in the GT Winter Series and launch a dual-car program in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
