Yamaha Motor Europe Announces Conclusion of Partnership with Maxime Renaux
Yamaha Motor Europe has officially announced the end of its decade-long partnership with French motocross rider Maxime Renaux. Renaux’s tenure with Yamaha is highlighted by significant achievements that include 19 Grand Prix victories and 33 podium finishes across various classes, culminating in his crowning as the MX2 World Champion in 2021.
Starting his journey with Yamaha at the age of 10 on a YZ85, Renaux quickly progressed through the ranks. His ascent was marked by a breakthrough performance in 2015, when he secured the FIM Junior Motocross 125cc World Title, as well as three EMX125 round wins that same year.
Alexandre Kowalski, Yamaha Motor Europe Off-Road Racing Manager, expressed gratitude for Renaux’s loyalty and contributions to the brand. “Maxime has been a part of the Yamaha Family for over a decade… He embodies the spirit of Yamaha’s racing pyramid,” Kowalski noted. While the partnership concludes, Yamaha reflects on a successful collaboration that showcases the potential of dedicated athletes in the sport.
As Renaux moves into a new chapter of his career, Yamaha extends its best wishes for his future endeavors.
