Acura Meyer Shank Racing Solidifies Driver Lineup for 2026 IMSA Season
Acura Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) has reaffirmed its commitment to a successful future, announcing the retention of its driver lineup for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team will maintain its two-car structure, featuring Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun in the No. 60 Acura ARX-06, alongside Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly in the No. 93 Acura.
Blomqvist and Braun, who are entering their third season together, marked their previous campaign with a notable second-place finish in the Rolex 24 At Daytona and a victory at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. They also secured a second-place finish at Indianapolis, demonstrating consistent competitiveness.
For the No. 93 Acura, van der Zande and Yelloly had a strong inaugural season, clinching victory on the streets of Detroit and earning additional podium finishes at Sebring and Road America. Collectively, Acura MSR drivers achieved four pole positions, contributing to Acura’s strong second-place finish in the GTP manufacturers’ championship.
Blomqvist expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “I’m really looking forward to 2026… We’ve already started preparing… with HRC behind us, there’s no reason we can’t bring home the 2026 championship.”
Details regarding driver assignments for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup will be announced in the future.
