Honda Racing Corporation Launches "Racing The Dream" Docuseries Featuring Meyer Shank Racing Partnership
Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) US has unveiled the first installment of its five-part docuseries, "Racing The Dream," which highlights its innovative collaboration with Meyer Shank Racing (MSR). This series examines the development of the second Acura ARX-06 entry in the IMSA GTP class, a project fueled by a unique partnership between HRC US and MSR.
The No. 60 Acura is operated by MSR’s Ohio-based team, while the No. 93 ARX-06 is managed by MSR mechanics under the guidance of HRC staff. The strategic oversight for vehicle performance and race tactics is provided by personnel from HRC’s California and Indiana divisions, a distinctive model within IMSA’s WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
HRC US president David Salters emphasized the human element of racing, stating, “Racing is all about people and building a strong team. We engage in this sport to develop our people, technology, and tools, both at the track and back at our facilities in California and Indianapolis. It’s incredibly exciting to share this new challenge and adventure for HRC US with our fans, showcasing the highs and lows of our journey.”
The docuseries aims to provide an insider’s perspective on the challenges and triumphs of motorsport, offering fans a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in high-level racing.
