TDS Racing Unveils 2026 Driver Line-Up for IMSA WeatherTech Championship
TDS Racing has confirmed its driver roster for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, featuring a new full-time crew composed of Tobias Lütke, Mathias Beche, and David Heinemeier Hansson.
Lütke and Heinemeier Hansson reunite after racing together at Era Motorsport last season, where Lütke made his debut in LMP2 and secured a third-place finish at Petit Le Mans alongside Heinemeier Hansson and Oliver Jarvis. Lütke’s company, Shopify, will also serve as the primary sponsor for TDS’s No. 11 ORECA 07-Gibson, a partnership announced earlier this week.
Beche returns to TDS after a successful campaign in the 2025 European Le Mans Series, where he finished third in the LMP2 Championship and capped the season with a victory in the 4 Hours of Portimão. He also competed in three IMSA races last year with PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports, achieving a best finish of third at the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Charles Milesi, the Alpine Endurance Team factory driver and the sole returning member of TDS Racing’s 2025 Daytona lineup, will complete the team at Daytona. Milesi, a former class winner at the Le Mans 24 Hours, led Alpine to its inaugural Hypercar victory at the WEC 6 Hours of Fuji in September.
Notably, former TDS driver Steven Thomas announced his departure from IMSA competition following his Petit Le Mans victory. Mikkel Jensen also confirmed his exit from the Peugeot Sport WEC team after 2025.
Per IMSA, Lütke is expected to compete in the entire 2026 season, with either Hansson or Beche joining him as the primary co-driver, contingent on their respective schedules.
