Juncos Hollinger Racing Confirms Sting Ray Robb for 2026 IndyCar Lineup
Indianapolis, IN – Juncos Hollinger Racing (JHR) has finalized its driver lineup for the 2026 IndyCar Series season, confirming Sting Ray Robb will return in the No. 77 Chevrolet alongside newly signed lead driver Rinus VeeKay.
Robb expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “This season is massive for me… What’s key for me is the continuity—working with the established team and focusing on elevating across all areas.” Team principal Dave O’Neill emphasized Robb’s pivotal role in the team’s development, describing him as “a key pillar in the structure we’re building.”
Robb, who made his IndyCar debut with Dale Coyne Racing in 2023, had a challenging transition, moving from AJ Foyt Racing in 2024 to JHR in 2025. Speculation about his future arose this offseason when he was briefly removed from the team’s website. However, the organization confirmed he is integral to its ambition of ascending the competitive ranks.
O’Neill noted, “Sting Ray’s commitment and approach match the ambition driving this team forward… 2026 is our chance to convert that progress into real performance gains.” His previous season finished with a best result of ninth at the Long Beach Grand Prix, contributing to a 25th overall standing in 2025.
The pairing of Robb and VeeKay, who had a breakout season with Dale Coyne Racing, is seen as a strategic move to strengthen JHR’s competitiveness. VeeKay finished 14th in the championship last season and brings critical experience to the team.
As the IndyCar Series grid nears completion, only two entries remain uncertain, marking a significant point in the lead-up to the 2026 season. This latest confirmation indicates JHR’s commitment to stability and performance growth as they strive to improve on their 16th-place championship finish in 2023.
