Cleveland Supercross Triple Crown: Thrasher Secures Victory, Yamaha Dominates
Nate Thrasher clinched a significant victory at the Cleveland Supercross Triple Crown, marking him as the fifth different winner for Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing in the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. He joins teammates Max Anstie, Haiden Deegan, Pierce Brown, and Cole Davies, who have all achieved individual wins this year.
This achievement ties the record set by the 2014 Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team, which also saw five distinct riders claiming victories. However, the Pro Circuit lineup—comprised of Dean Wilson, Justin Hill, Adam Cianciarulo, Blake Baggett, and Martin Davalos—failed to secure a championship title despite a robust performance with 10 wins over 17 rounds. In contrast, through 14 rounds of the ongoing season, Yamaha Star Racing has amassed 13 total wins and already secured a title with Haiden Deegan clinching the 250SX West Division championship.
As it stands, the only non-Yamaha victory in the 250SX class this year was recorded by Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker. The likelihood of a Yamaha sweep in this year’s 250SX category remains high, with three rounds left in the season.
Looking ahead, the potential for new winners is evident, with riders such as Landen Gordon and Kayden Minear in contention for a breakthrough in upcoming races. Achieving another unique winner would solidify Yamaha’s historic dominance this season.
