Upcoming Finale for the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship
As the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season approaches its finale, anticipation builds within the motorsports community. The 450SX championship has showcased compelling racing throughout the season, setting the stage for an exhilarating conclusion.
Prior to the championship decider in Salt Lake City, PulpMX/Racer X’s Steve Matthes is organizing the Yamaha LCQ Challenge on Friday, May 11. This event aims to bolster support for privateer racers, with 100% of raffle proceeds directed towards their funding. Participants have the opportunity to win a 2026 Yamaha YZ450F, alongside various other prizes, with tickets priced at $30 each.
This initiative marks the eighth consecutive year Matthes has collaborated with Yamaha for this cause. Funds raised will support riders qualifying for the LCQ Challenge, a key pre-race event preceding the Salt Lake City Supercross finale.
The drawing for the YZ450F will be broadcast live on the PulpMX Show, ensuring transparency and excitement for all entrants. Interested parties are encouraged to enter early, as time is running out ahead of this season’s much-anticipated conclusion.
