Tampere Supercross 2025: Adrien Malaval Takes Dominator Title as Harri Kullas Fails to Finish

Tampere, Finland – November 8, 2025 – At the Tampere Supercross, French rider Adrien Malaval claimed the prestigious Dominator title in the SX1 class, demonstrating remarkable prowess over the two-day event held at the Tampere Sports and Expo arena. Notably, Harri Kullas, who had dominated the heats, failed to finish the Saturday final after encountering difficulties.

In the SX1 class, Malaval secured victory after a strong showing, finishing first on Saturday following a third-place performance on Friday. He noted, “I was comfortable with my bike and knew how I felt riding it on this track. My confidence was good, and I knew I could push harder towards the end of the race.” This win marked a successful debut for Malaval at this event.

Cade Clason of the USA, who led the opening laps, finished second, followed closely by compatriot Tristan Lane in third. Estonia’s Kaarel Tilk rounded out the top five. In the overall standings for the two-day event, Clason and Lane secured second and third places, respectively.

Kullas, expected to be a key contender, struggled in the final after starting poorly and subsequently falling behind. His final race ended prematurely after he mishandled a triple jump but fortunately did not crash. Jere Haavisto also faced challenges, crashing in the final laps while running in the top positions, ultimately failing to finish.

The best-performing Finn in the Saturday final was Miro Varjonen, who finished ninth.

In the SX2 class, Kasimir Hindersson triumphed over Simo Koskinen, who had initially taken the lead but fell early in the race. Hindersson’s victory marked a solid performance in his first supercross event: “I tried to keep a cool head without making any big mistakes,” he reflected after the race.

Jonni Hujala finished third in SX2, with Jasper Haavisto and Santeri Oinonen taking fourth and fifth, respectively.

In additional events, Malaval showcased his skills in a Superpole time trial and also won the knockout Elimination race against Kullas. The Talaria Challenge for electric bikes saw Joonas Heimonen emerging victorious.

The Tampere Supercross has been a hallmark event in Finland’s motorsports calendar, celebrating its 11th edition this year.
