ALiAS MX Partners with GateDrop™ Energy Gummies to Launch Innovative Sponsorship Model
Hopkinton, New Hampshire — GateDrop™ Energy Gummies is entering the 2026 season with a unique rider-centric approach to sponsorship in motocross. The company is introducing a new energy gummy product designed specifically for athletes, while simultaneously launching Team GateDrop™, a sponsorship ecosystem that reinvests revenue from sales directly into the motocross community.
Key partners for the program’s debut include ALiAS MX and Adept Creative Co., responsible for the development of official team gear and graphics.
Each GateDrop gummy contains 20 mg of organic caffeine alongside essential vitamins and natural ingredients, allowing riders to customize their energy intake. Co-Founder and CEO Tim Near emphasized, “We created a product that will change the whole energy space… our goal wasn’t just to innovate the product. We wanted to innovate the sponsorship model too.”
The company’s marketing strategy deviates from traditional advertising, opting instead to allocate funds toward direct athlete support and building relationships with industry partners. Near stated, “Instead of spending hundreds of thousands on social ads, we can fund graphics, gear, parts, supplies, and race entries for real riders.”
GateDrop aims to launch this initiative with substantial discounts for Team GateDrop members, with plans to financially support essential rider needs in the long term. Their vision includes scaling the program to reach thousands of athletes nationwide.
The development of Team GateDrop is overseen by industry veterans, including Jim Gunning, a key figure in establishing Red Bull’s original athlete program. Near affirmed the value of the partnership with ALiAS MX, reflecting shared values and commitment to the motocross community.
“Our riders will help us build awareness at the grassroots level, including local tracks, races, and riding events,” Near added, underscoring the focus on sustainable community engagement.
