Triumph Racing Sees Significant Improvement at SuperMotocross

July 30, 2023 – Triumph Racing achieved a notable milestone at this weekend’s SuperMotocross World Championship event, with all four of their riders finishing in the top ten overall. Mikkel Haarup led the charge with a robust fourth place, followed by Austin Forkner in eighth, Jalek Swoll in ninth, and Jordon Smith rounding out the top ten. This marks Triumph’s best performance of the summer, showcasing the team’s growth and resilience, particularly in light of Stilez Robertson’s absence due to a wrist injury.

"Another weekend in the correct direction," stated Jeremy Coker, General Manager for Triumph Racing America. "To have all four riders in the top 10 is very hard to achieve, especially with Jalek carrying an injury. Our plan is to have all four inside of the top five."

Swoll commented on his performance, stating, "I felt good on the track all day. I had two solid starts – my intensity was very good early on. I was fourth in moto one and third in moto two, which I’m very proud of."

Forkner reported a marked improvement in his results: "This was the best I have qualified this year. My riding was better all day, and I felt comfortable. This is a step in the right direction."

Smith acknowledged a mixed day, noting, "I have good speed! I fell in the first moto, so it was not ideal. I had a good start in the second moto and was the fastest man at points but plateaued towards the end."

The team’s consistent performance and strategic improvements demonstrate their commitment to achieving top results, positioning them as strong contenders moving forward in the championship. More updates are expected as the season progresses.
