Chase Sexton Withdraws from Team USA for 2025 FIM Motocross of Nations
MURRIETA, Calif. – Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed that Chase Sexton will not compete for Team USA in the upcoming 2025 FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) due to injuries sustained during the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) Final.
Sexton, 26, originally selected to race in the MXGP Class on the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION at Ironman Raceway in Indiana, has been sidelined following a crash in 450SMX Moto 2 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He has been diagnosed with a mild concussion and is set for further scans to assess a possible shoulder injury.
This marks the second consecutive year Sexton will miss the prestigious international event after contributing to Team USA’s victory at RedBud in 2022. His withdrawal raises questions about the U.S. team’s strategy moving forward as they seek to defend their title at the event running from October 3-5.
Further updates on Team USA’s lineup will be anticipated as they prepare for the competition.
