Adams Returns for Nashville Supercross Amid Injury Setback
Drew Adams will compete in the Nashville Supercross this weekend, marking his return to the 250SX series after a thumb injury sustained during the Daytona SX event. Adams previously recorded a 6th and a 22nd place finish in his two starts this season, notably winning his first career heat race at Daytona before a crash forced him out of the main event.
Currently ranked 21st in points, Adams will ride alongside teammates Seth Hammaker and Nick Romano, the latter serving as a fill-in rider for the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team.
Iain Southwell, team manager, expressed confidence in his riders’ performance, stating, “We know Seth’s window to capitalize is narrowing, but his consistency has been exactly what we’re looking for. He’s riding strong, and we expect him to leave everything out on the track in Nashville. Nick continues to make solid progress, and if he keeps building on this momentum, he’s more than capable of delivering another top-10 finish this weekend. We’re happy to have Drew back under the tent and we hope that the hometown crowd will be the boost he needs to get back up to speed.”
The Nashville Supercross presents a crucial opportunity for Adams to solidify his standing in the championship, supported by a home crowd eager to see his comeback.
