Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Honda Strengthen Partnership at Charlotte SMX Weekend
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF), a leading nonprofit dedicated to combating childhood brain cancer, showcased its 34-year partnership with Honda during the recent Charlotte SMX weekend. This collaboration, rooted in the successful Ride for Kids program, has raised over $54 million for research and support for families affected by pediatric brain tumors.
Alissa Karas, Ride for Kids Peer to Peer Manager at PBTF, noted the significance of the event, stating, “These families weren’t familiar with SuperMotocross, but they got the chance to enjoy the hospitality with the team and to see what SuperMotocross is all about.” The weekend not only celebrated the partnership but also provided patient families with unique experiences at the event.
Jeremy McGuire, Director of Customer Engagement at American Honda, expressed the company’s commitment, saying, “It was a pleasure and honor for our team and associates to get to spend time with such a special group of guests this weekend.” He encouraged fans to participate generously in the ongoing auction, emphasizing the inspiration Honda draws from the PBTF and the families it serves.
