Herlings Joins Honda HRC Ahead of Upcoming MXGP Season

In a significant shift within the motocross landscape, five-time world champion Jeffrey Herlings has signed with Honda HRC, set to ride the CRF450R for the 2023 MXGP season. This announcement signals a new era for Herlings, who expressed his enthusiasm about joining a team known for its professionalism and operational excellence.

“I’m so excited to join Honda HRC and ride a CRF450R,” said Herlings. Highlighting the urgency of the transition, he noted, “With just over two months until the MXGP of Argentina, I don’t have a lot of time to adapt, but I’m ready to start riding now.”

Marcus Preira de Freitas, General Manager of HRC for MXGP, emphasized the significance of the signing, stating, “The chance to sign a five-time world champion doesn’t come about often.
