Prado’s Nashville Setback Stalls Podium Chase
In a disheartening turn of events at the Nashville Supercross, Jorge Prado of Red Bull KTM fell victim to an unfortunate crash, which derailed what had been a promising race. The Spaniard, who had been racing competitively in the top five, held the fourth position until the 11th lap before losing control and ultimately finishing in 13th place.
This finish marks Prado’s third double-digit result of the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season, all of which have been 13th. Over ten main event starts this season, his results reflect a mixed bag: 3-13-7-7-5-6-7-13-4-13.
In a post-race assessment, Prado expressed frustration with the missed opportunity: “I felt good all day, and I’m just upset with myself that I wasn’t able to execute the plan I had in my head for the race… One mistake cost me what could have been a great night.” He noted that his bike performed well throughout, and he remains focused on learning and improving. With his season kicking off with a podium at Angel Stadium, Prado is determined to regain his momentum and aims for another top finish in the upcoming rounds.
Looking ahead, there remains potential for Prado to resurface on the podium as the season progresses.
