Kailub Russell Victim of Motorcycle Theft: 17 Bikes Stolen
North Carolina – Eight-time Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Champion Kailub Russell revealed via social media that his garage was broken into overnight, resulting in the theft of 17 motorcycles, including his competitive AmPro Yamaha race bikes and championship-winning KTM machines. Fortunately, Russell and his family were unharmed during the incident.
In a video posted to Instagram, Russell detailed the break-in, noting that he had recently listed a motorcycle for sale on Facebook Marketplace. After a friend’s warning about a similar robbery linked to social media postings, he decided to remove the listing. However, the following morning, his wife discovered the garage entirely emptied.
The theft occurred shortly after Russell’s return from the JNCC event in Japan. He has urged the motorcycle community to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the stolen bikes, emphasizing the importance of community awareness in tracking down the stolen machines.
Russell stated: “Attention everyone, please keep your eyes open for anything. If you have any information, contact the authorities or our family.” A comprehensive list of the bikes taken has been released, and the community is encouraged to assist in the recovery.
As the investigation unfolds, local authorities are actively pursuing leads. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
