Kitchen and McAdoo Set to Return at Denver Supercross
The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team has announced that Levi Kitchen and Cameron McAdoo will compete in the ninth round of the 250SX West Division Championship this Saturday at Empower Field at Mile High.
Both riders are returning from injuries that have sidelined them in recent weeks. Kitchen, who currently holds second place in the overall standings, is recovering from a back injury sustained a few weeks prior, while McAdoo is set to make his comeback after fracturing the top of his humerus at the Seattle Supercross. McAdoo, a two-time podium finisher this season, has not competed since that event.
In a team update, Kitchen’s participation comes as he aims for his first win of the season, with three podium finishes already in his eight starts. McAdoo’s return is particularly significant as it coincides with the birth of his first child, a daughter, earlier this month.
Team Manager Iain Southwell expressed enthusiasm about both riders’ returns, stating, “It will be good to see both Levi and Cameron back on the gate after being away for some time. I know they’re both ready to get some laps under their belt and show the speed we know they are capable of.”
The event in Denver is pivotal as the season enters its final stretch, and the riders are eager to assess their performance amidst fluctuating weather conditions expected on race day.
